Fee Collections are the number of times the fee is collected from the students.
If the fees are collected on 3 instalments then you create 3 fee collections each with its own start and end date.
If the fee amount is split on 3 equal instalments, then you can create 1 master fee category with particulars, discounts and fines, then create 3 fee collections using the same master fee.
If the instalments are not equal, then you need to create a master fee category for each separate instalment, and create a fee collection for that instalment separately.
At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Administration > Finance > Fees > Schedule Fee Collection Dates > Create Fee Collection to open the Create Fee Collection page.
