• Log onto Skolera as a teacher
  • Click on My Courses to select the Course you want to create the quiz for
  • Click on Online Quizzes
  • Click on <Create New Quiz>
  • Write the quiz name
  • Choose the publishing date (The date this quiz will appear to the students)
  • Assign the quiz to your desired Class(es) as well as you can use the Grouping option to assign to specific student(s)
  • Select the grade category (This will determine if the grade for his online quiz will be counted as homework, classwork, quiz ....)
  • Type down the number of attempts (from 1 to 6) .. If you write more than 1 attempt , this means that students can re-answer their quiz according to this number and each time the last attempt will delete the old one .
  • Select the basis for grade calculation.
  • Click on Next to continue
  • Select the quiz topic
  • Select the subtopic
  • Select a lesson
  • Select the learning objective(s)
  • Click on Next to create your questions


Create True/False questions:

  • Choose True/False from the dropdown list
  • Write the statement in the editor
  • Mark the correct answer (True or False)
  • Check one (or more) of the listed Bloom’s categories (optional)
  • Select the question’s difficulty level
  • Assign a score (Mark/Grade) for the question
  • Click on Add a new question to add other questions to the quiz


Creating Multi-select questions:

  • Choose multiselect from the dropdown list
  • Write the question in the editor
  • Add an option (a choice)
  • Click on Add New Option to add more choices
  • Mark the correct answers by selecting the checkbox on the right
  • Check one (or more) of the listed Bloom’s categories (optional)
  • Select the question’s difficulty level
  • Assign a score (Mark/Grade) for the question
  • Click on Add a new question to add other questions to the quiz


Creating a Multiple Choice question:

  • Choose Multiple Choice from the dropdown list
  • Write the question in the editor
  • Add an option (a choice)
  • Click on Add New Option to add more choices
  • Mark the correct answer by selecting the checkbox on the right
  • Check one (or more) of the listed Bloom’s categories (optional)
  • Select the question’s difficulty level
  • Assign a score (Mark/Grade) for the question
  • Click on Add a new question to add other questions to the quiz


Creating a Matching question:

  • Choose Matching from the dropdown list
  • Write an explanation of the matching task in the editor
  • Add part 1 of the match pair
  • Add the correct matching answer
  • Click on Add New Option to add more matching pairs
  • Check one (or more) of the listed Bloom’s categories (optional)
  • Select the question’s difficulty level
  • Assign a score (Mark/Grade) for the question
  • Click on Add a new question to add other questions to the quiz


Creating a Reorder question:

  • Choose reorder from the dropdown list
  • Write an explanation of the task in the editor
  • Add the the steps (Options) in the correct order
  • Click on Add New Option to add more steps
  • Check one (or more) of the listed Bloom’s categories (optional)
  • Select the question’s difficulty level
  • Assign a score (Mark/Grade) for the question
  • Click on Add a new question to add other questions to the quiz


Creating an Essay question:

  • Choose Essay from the dropdown list
  • Select the question’s difficulty level
  • Write an explanation of the task in the editor
  • Add the model answer
  • Check one (or more) of the listed Bloom’s categories (optional)
  • Assign a score (Mark/Grade) for the question
  • Click on Add a new question to add other questions to the quiz

You can press on Clone Question to make a Copy from the recent question which you can edit easily 



Once you have added all the questions, click on Next Step

  • Select < Randomize Questions> if you want the order of questions to be different for each student (optional)
  • Set the number of hour(s)/minute(s) for the quiz  <Duration> , putiing in consideration that this is the timing of that will be allowed to the student to solve the quiz through .. Once its finished , the quiz will be closed automatically .
  • Click on <Create> to publish your quiz


Once you start filling in the questions , your quiz is automatically saved as a draft and you can continue your work later .

After Creating the Quiz successfully , You also have option to have a view it as a student
