ACL is a feature that enables an authorized Skolera Site Admin to create different groups with various permissions to do specific actions on the platform.
Permissions are assigned to groups. Group members will inherit the group permissions.
You can also assign specific permissions to a single user.
To create a Permissions Group:
- Log onto Skolera as an admin.
- On the navigation Menu, click on the arrow next to ACL to expand the sub-menu.
- Click on Permission Groups to view a list of existing Groups.
- Click on Create New Group to Open the Add new Group Dialogue
- Enter a Group Name and Description.
- Add users by Typing a user name in the Add Users box.
- Click Next to Move to the Permissions tab.
- Click on the Arrows in the directory tree to expand the Permissions and Permission Levels.
- On the Left pane, you can select a Parent Module to Include all child permissions, or you can select a specific permission levels.
- A higher permission level automatically inherits all lower permissions.
- Selected permissions are displayed on the right pane.
- Click Create to Create the Permission Group.
- All users assigned to the group will inherit all the group permissions.
