HoDs can view grades for classes in their department.


In this article you will learn how to:

  1. View grades for a specific class
  2. Add grade items
  3. Downloading grades to your computer


i. Viewing grades.

    1. Select My Courses from the navigation bar on the left.

        (This is also the default landing page after logging in)


    2. Select the class for which you would like to view the grades.


    3. Select the Grades tab.


    4. Click the box below Grading Period to select the semester, quarter, etc..

(You can also refine the results by selecting a certain grade category, for example: Homework, attendance, etc. by clicking the Category box. In addition you can select a specific time period by clicking the From and To boxes and choosing the dates you wish.)


    5. To view invisible students' scroll down using the scrollbar on the right.


    6. To search for a specific student, type his/her name in the search box.


7. To view grades for different categories scroll right using the scrollbar at the bottom.



ii. Adding grade items.

    1. Click the + Add Grade Item button.


    2. Click the Name box to type a name for your grade item.


    3. Select a suitable category from the Grade Category drop down menu.


    4. Select the grading period from the Grade Period drop down menu.


    5. Enter the maximum grade a student can get in the Max Grade box, and enter the lowest grade a student can get in the Default Grade box.


    6. Click the Add button.


iii. Downloading grades to your computer.

    You can download the grades to your computer as an Excel sheet by clicking the Export button.
