Sign into your Admin account 


From the Navigation menu at the Left side 


Press on Focus insights > Courses 



Press on the Number of Teachers assigned to the required Course to View the Teachers names 


Press on the Teacher name 



Now you are redirected to the interface of the Teacher 

  1. Select <Assignment> tab 

  2. Press <New Assignment> on the right side

  3. Fill  in the Basic info and Curriculum info

    • Assignment Name

    • Publish Date (The date the assignment will appear to Students and Parents)

    • Grade Category (This will decide where the grade for this Category will be added. For Example; If you choose Homework, the grade of the assignment will be added as Homework. If you choose Exam, the grade for the assignment will be to Exams)

    • Select a Grade Sub-Category (Enabled only if you select a Grading Category that has Grading Sub-Categories)

    • Assign to; The classes you want to send this assignment to. You can always edit the assignment and add new classes later and you can use the Grouping option to assign the assignment to specific student(s)

  4. Click on Next Step to move to the Curriculum Information
    • Select the Topic, Sub-Topic and Lesson That this assignment belongs to
    • Select the Learning Objectives (These objectives are populated if entered by the HoD) Optional
    • Select the Bloom's Categories (Optional)
    • Enter the Max grade for the Assignment (The Highest Mark/Grade a student can get in this assignment)
  5. Press next to go to the Assignment content, where you have two options :

    • Either to write the content in the shown Text box
    • Or to upload a file that contains the Assignment and the students can view and download from their side
    • Or you can do both (But at least one of the choices is required)
  6. Select the submission Types: (How the students should return this assignment. You can select more than one submission type, but at least one is required)
    • Hard copy : means that student will submit the answers by Hard papers.
    • Online text : means that student will have text box to submit their answers in.
    • File upload : means that student will submit their answers through uploading a file.
  7. Due date : is the last date students can submit their answers.

  8. Now press <Create>
