Transferring students to the new academic year batches in the ERP system is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring that students are assigned to the correct classes for the upcoming year. Here’s how to do it:
Steps to Transfer Students to the New Academic Year Batches on ERP:
Sign in to your ERP admin account using your credentials.
Step 1 : Go to the "OpenEduCat" app from the main dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the 'General' tab within the OpenEduCat module.
Step 3: Select 'Student Migration' from the options available.
Step 4: Fill in the Required Fields
- Date of Migration: Enter the migration execution date, which is today's date.
- Transfer Levels:
- Choose the current level (e.g., Year 1) you want to transfer students from.
- Select the new level (e.g., Year 2) and the batch you want to transfer students to.
Step 5 :
Elective Subjects Options You have two choices regarding elective subjects:
Unassign Elective Subjects:
- This option is recommended for transferring students to the new academic level without retaining any previously assigned elective subjects.
Transfer Elective Subjects:
- Assign Elective Subjects of New Batch: This will transfer the students and assign them the elective subjects associated with the new batch.
Or retain the elective subjects assigned to the students from the batch they were transferred from.
Step 6 : Select the students you need to transfer and complete the migration process
Step 7 : Click Forward to complete the transfer.
