Archiving students allows you to maintain a record of students who are no longer active, such as graduated or transferred students, while keeping their data accessible for future reference or administrative purposes. Here’s how to archive students
Steps to Archive Students Using Your ERP System:
Sign in to your ERP admin account using your credentials.
Step 1: Open the OpenEduCat Module
Step 2: Search for the Student to Archive .
Use the search bar or Group By options to find the student(s) you want to archive. You can search by name, class, grade level, or other filters available in the system.
Step 3 : Select the Students to Archive
Select the students you want to archive by checking the boxes next to their names.
If you need to archive multiple students, you can select them all at once.
Step 4 : Choose the Archive Option:
Once you’ve selected the students, look for an Archive button or option in the system, usually at the top or bottom of the student list.
Confirm the Archive Action:
A confirmation prompt will appear, asking you to confirm the archiving action. Confirm that you want to archive the selected students.
Review Archived Students:
After archiving, the student records will be moved to an archived or inactive status. You can still search for and access archived student records, but they will no longer be part of active lists or reports.
Step 5 : Unarchive a Student
Click on the name of the student you wish to unarchive.
- Click on the Action button.
- Select Unarchive from the dropdown menu to restore the student to the active list.
